This training is aimed at strengthening the capacity of researchers in CABI member countries to write effective policy briefs and bring them to the attention of the right policymakers. The programme is expected to increase researchers' confidence and competence to contribute to policy decisions and achieve greater socio-economic impact with their research. The expected outcome of the training is that policymakers will have greater access to more understandable and actionable research that can inform better policy decisions.

Expected outcomes

• Participants will have increased competence and confidence to write and deliver a policy brief to the right policymakers.

• Participants will receive a certificate of participation.
